Dr. Amany Ibrahim Hussein
Fashion Design Lecturer, Researcher, and Creative Consultant with more than 20 years of experience spanning fashion design, apparel manufacturing, fashion education, and trend forecasting.
Dr. Amany graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, majoring in Fashion Design in 2007. She earned her Master's degree in Ready-to-Wear Design in 2013 and completed her Ph.D. in Fashion Design and Apparel Technology in 2022 from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University.
Her professional journey began in 2005 with Hijab Fashion Magazine, where she worked as a Fashion Editor and Art Director. Over the years, she has built extensive expertise in fashion journalism, trend analysis, and translating global fashion movements into relevant insights for regional markets.
Since 2006, she has worked closely with apparel manufacturers, fashion brands, and industry professionals, gaining hands-on experience in product development, design processes, and garment production. Between 2012 and 2016, she also worked as a freelance designer for homewear manufacturers in Egypt.

- Honorary Recognition by the Faculty of Applied Arts during the Department Scientific Conference (2018).
In academia, Dr. Amany has been teaching since 2009 and has delivered courses at the Faculty of Applied Arts – Helwan University, MSA University, and several private universities.
In 2019, she founded her own fashion education academy dedicated to developing creative and professional skills for fashion students and aspiring designers.
She currently serves as a Fashion Design Lecturer at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and the British University in Egypt (BUE).
Her teaching and consulting expertise includes Fashion Design, Fashion Illustration, Digital Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing & Branding, Styling & Image Consulting, Portfolio Development, and Creative Design Strategy.
